Stagelam® portable stage are used at major entertainment events in a wide range of applications, including:
"The MGM Grand Hotel's EFX Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada used GRT Genesis's Stagelam® sheet product for over 5 years as a stage surface. We have scenic elements that weigh over 20,000 pounds and move on small diameters steel wheels. The stagelam® product has given us long life with low maintenance. Many of the original sheets are still in use and appear to still be viable.
The natural Black Matte finish is ideal for theatrical use requiring little maintenance other than daily mopping. Should damage happen the sheets are easily replaced requiring only cutting to fit and attaching to the sub floor.
We routinely drive forklift, boomlifts, heavy transport, carts, etc, on the stage with no damage. Additionally, the EFX Show used pyrotechnics, gas flame, fog and smoke effects. The Stagelam® appears to be unfazed by these effects."
